Deputy CM Eknath Shinde facilitated the safe return of 164 Maharashtrians, including 84 students from Pune, who were stranded in the UAE due to the Iran-Israel war. Crediting PM Modi and Amit Shah for their leadership, Shinde coordinated two special flights from Fujairah to Mumbai to rescue citizens from Dubai and surrounding areas.
