Delhi High Court Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma has recused herself from the liquor policy scam case while initiating contempt proceedings against Arvind Kejriwal and other AAP leaders. Citing legal protocols, she stated that a judge initiating contempt action cannot preside over the main trial. The case will now be referred to the Chief Justice for reassignment to another bench.
